Privacy policy

How SteamCall handles account, service and billing data, and your privacy choices. Updated 13 October 2026.

Responsibility and contact

An individual operator in Poland is responsible for SteamCall's account and service data. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or to exercise your rights. Paddle separately handles information required for purchases it processes, under its own privacy notice.

Information we process

Account information can include your Steam identifier, authentication-provider subject, display name, avatar, account status and verified email address. Login information is processed to authenticate you and keep your account secure.

Service records include Projects, Service Accounts, hashed API-key evidence, configured network access rules, requests, timestamps, network or device information needed for security, usage and delivery records. Billing records include confirmed offers, provider Customer/subscription/payment references, accounting entries, refunds, disputes and support correspondence. Do not send secrets or unnecessary personal data in support messages.

Requests can include public Steam data concerning other people. Only submit data you are entitled to process. Your responsibilities for the purposes of your own application are separate from SteamCall's account and service processing.

Purposes and legal bases

We process information necessary to provide the requested account and service, administer subscriptions and answer support requests on the basis of performing our contract or taking steps you request before a contract. Security, abuse prevention and reliable operation serve legitimate interests; applicable accounting or other mandatory records are kept to comply with legal obligations.

Optional product analytics uses your consent. You may refuse or withdraw it without losing core account or purchase functionality. Required account or billing fields are identified in the relevant flow; withholding information necessary for that flow can prevent us from completing it.

Browser storage and optional analytics

Necessary session and preference storage supports login, security and your privacy choice. The analytics preference lasts up to 180 days and does not contain your Customer identity.

When analytics is enabled for the site, optional analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It uses pseudonymous browser identifiers and cookies or local storage to measure page visits and feature use. This is not anonymous processing. We do not identify analytics visitors with their Steam or Customer identifier, record sessions, enable autocapture or create person profiles. Sensitive authentication, billing and settings routes and URL query strings or fragments are excluded from our tracked page context.

Use the Privacy choices controls on this Privacy policy page to reject analytics or withdraw your previous choice. Your browser preference controls optional analytics on that browser; clearing storage or using another browser can require choosing again.

Service providers and transfers

We use service providers for hosting and storage, security and content delivery, account authentication, email and support, and consented analytics. Paddle handles checkout and billing for purchases it processes.

We share information needed for the relevant service, security, support or legal requirement. Providers can process information outside Poland and the European Economic Area; contact us for information about the applicable recipients and transfer safeguards. Not all service data necessarily remains within the European Economic Area.

Retention and account closure

We retain information for the purposes described here, taking account of service needs, security, applicable legal duties, unresolved payments or disputes, and recovery from backups. Operational request/message histories have limited retention; this does not mean that accounting, identity, support or backup records have the same deletion schedule.

Contact support to request account closure or erasure. Closing an account does not automatically erase financial evidence that must be retained, and your request may need verification so that we do not disclose or delete another person's data.

Your rights and complaints

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent. Rights and exceptions depend on the processing and its legal basis. We do not use optional analytics to make decisions about your account with legal or similarly significant effects.

Contact [email protected] to make a request. You may also complain to the Polish supervisory authority, UODO, or the competent authority where you live or work. We will publish updates to this notice when the service's processing changes.
